1. Activated carbon from metallurgical coke grinding powder: Activated carbon is a carbon material with developed microporous structure and strong adsorption capacity. It is widely used in various fields such as chemical industry, food processing, military protection and environmental protection industry. The performance of activated carbon is related to its specific surface area, micropore volume, pore size distribution and chemical composition. Adding appropriate coke powder in the coking process can improve the quality of the coke. Due to the increasing shortage of coking coal resources in China, in order to expand coking coal resources and reduce the cost of coal blending, many coking enterprises have tried to use coke powder as a coal blending component for coking to improve the economic benefits of coke powder. Many enterprises in China have conducted research on the particle size and proportion of coke powder. Yang Mingping conducted an industrial production test on the basis of the small coke oven test. The results show that under the conventional top-loading coking process conditions, it is feasible to add 3% to 5% of coke powder to replace the lean coal for coking. Through research, Wang Dali et al. found that coking with coke powder has no obvious effect on the maximum reflectance of the vitrinite of the blended coal. However, through microscopic measurement, it was found that the coke powder particles larger than 0.2mm were independent in the coke, and it was difficult to integrate with other components, and the shape did not change; while the coke powder smaller than 0.2mm was easily wrapped by colloid, which was favorable for coke formation. The optimal proportion of coke powder is 1.0%-1.7%, the optimal particle size range is 98%-100% less than 3mm, 78%-80% less than 1mm, and 40%-50% less than 0.2mm.
